In Altru, you can create a new organization and set up its profile to start generating reports. Follow these steps to create your organization:
Step 1: Enter Organization Name
What is the name of your organization?
Start by entering the name of your organization in the search bar.
As you type, Altru will search for existing organizations. If your organization appears, you can select it from the list. If not, you can proceed to create a new one.
Step 2: Select Your Organization
If your organization appears in the search results, select it. If not, proceed by confirming that your organization is not listed.
The system may provide some basic information if your organization is found.
Step 3: Enter EIN (Employer Identification Number)
What is your EIN #?
Enter your organization's EIN. This helps verify your organization's identity and gather relevant information.
Step 4: Enter Website Information
What is your website?
Enter your organization's website URL. This allows Altru to fetch additional information about your organization and verify its online presence.
Ensure the URL is correct and the website is reachable.
Step 5: Select Causes
Select at least 3 causes
Choose the causes your organization is involved in. This helps categorize your organization's focus areas and mission.
You can select from a variety of causes listed in the dropdown.
Step 6: Final Verification
Reading Your Website To Learn More About Your Organization
Altru will review the provided information and your website to learn more about your organization. This step may take a moment.
